<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform color adjustment of an image, and to readily and stably create an image print of a user's favorite color tone in a direct printing system from DSC to a printer. <P>SOLUTION: Image data of an image captured by DSC is transmitted to a printer. Color adjustment, such as saturation, of the image is performed by the printer side, and the adjustment result is fed back to the DSC as a parameter. By adjusting image data in the DSC, beforehand using the parameter, it is possible to obtain the image print of a user's favorite color tone from the next time, by printing the image transmitted to the printer, without performing color adjustment within the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
