<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the device applicable even to the vehicle wherein the space dimension in front of a steering wheel is short in a power steering device for the vehicle equipped with a steering shaft which is continued to the steering wheel at the rear end and has a forwardly and downwardly inclined axis line, and an electric motor which is disposed having the axis line orthogonal with respect to the plane including the axis line of the steering shaft, and gives the steering force according to the steering torque applied to the steering wheel to the steered wheel side. <P>SOLUTION: The steering shaft 21 is rotatably supported by the support case 37 where at least a part is disposed inner side than the rotating locus of the steering wheel 22 in plan view, and the rear end of the electric motor 55 mounted to the support case 37 is disposed further at the front side than the rear end of the steering shaft 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
