PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless transmission circuit wherein the current consumption of a circuit for generating a short pulse signal can be reduced, and to provide a wireless transmission apparatus that uses the wireless transmission circuit.

SOLUTION: The wireless transmission circuit includes a modulation circuit 6 for modulating transmission data to generate a modulation signal S1; a driver section 8 for increasing the drive current in a modulation signal S1 generated by the modulation circuit 6, to provide an output the result as a modulation signal S2; a step recovery diode circuit 9 for generating a modulation signal S3 for causing a high-frequency signal component, on the basis of the modulation signal S2 outputted from the driver section 8; and a band-pass filter 10 for extracting the high-frequency signal component from the modulation signal S3 generated by the step-recovery diode circuit 9 and outputting the high-frequency signal component as a pulse signal S4 for representing the transmission data.
