SOLUTION: This device practices traction control against the wheel when accelerating slipping quantity of the wheel (estimated car body speed Vrefacc based on wheel speed Vw - lengthwise acceleration sensor output) becomes higher than a threshold Sth. The Sth is principally set at a basic threshold Sthbase. The Sth is reduced by a valueβ1 by judging that "a phenomenon of the accelerating slipping quantity of whole wheels gently increasing due to slight accelerator operation during lowμroad surface travelling" is generated when two conditions of "0 < accelerator operating quantity < prescribed microscopic value" and "car body acceleration Gup (value of lengthwise acceleration sensor detected value added with prescribed value) based on car body acceleration DVwmin (time differential value of minimum wheel) > lengthwise acceleration sensor output based on wheel speed sensor output" are established in prescribed time T1.
