<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle recognition device capable of facilitating applying a motorcycle as a vehicle to be recognized without the need for high-level image processing function on a recognizing vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of a first light-emitting marker 11 and a second light-emitting marker 12 are provided in a forward-looking manner on the back faces of a right and a left mirrors 6 (L, R). Moreover, a third light-emitting marker 13 is provided in a forward-looking manner at a lower position of a head lamp 3 of a front cowl 1. The light-emitting markers 11, 12 and 13 are self light-emitting ones with near-infrared LED light sources, and are composed of only a single LED, or a plurality of accumulated or assembled LEDs.
