PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of superimposing an ideal normal mode signal having high degree of balance on a communication line, thereby preventing the occurrence of a radiation noise on the communication line. SOLUTION: A common mode current generated in the communication line is detected by a current detector 30. A transmission level controller 50 executes adjustment control of the signal level of a first transmission signal 201 and the signal level of a second transmission signal 202 so that the common mode current is reduced on the basis of that. The first and second transmission signals 201 and 202 adjusted are converted into single balanced signals 101 and 102 by a balanced circuit section 20, and outputted to the communication line.
