PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of recording only a target program even if urgent broadcast is inserted in the middle of a recording program. SOLUTION: The information processor determines whether data received from a tuner section are used for an urgent broadcast (S502) by using an urgent broadcast information processor 204 (S501). When it is determined that the data are not used for an urgent broadcast (Yes of S502), the data are recorded as program data. When it is determined that the data are used for an urgent broadcast (S503), the data are recorded as urgent broadcast data.
