PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frequency of disk I/O by accessing a database irrespective of paging on a virtual space. SOLUTION: A method for controlling access from a user application program to the same relational database comprises the step of, if receiving a declaration of processing handling much data from the user application, setting the relational database in a database storage area on a full execution space through an SQL issuance program and, when the user application program issues the next request, searching the set database storage area to return data to the requester.
