METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR SUPPORTING LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL EVALUATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate color reproduction characteristics of a liquid crystal panel of an image having a plurality of colors when the image is displayed on the liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: The method for supporting liquid crystal panel evaluation which supports the evaluation of color reproduction characteristics of the liquid crystal panel 10 displaying a color image includes a color difference calculation step of calculating a color difference indicating a difference between the color of an arbitrary pixel of the liquid crystal panel 10 when a display surface of the liquid crystal panel 10 where a color image for evaluation which has a plurality of colors is displayed is viewed from a 1st direction, i.e. the front and the color of the arbitrary pixel when the display surface is viewed from a 2nd direction other than the front as to all pixels of the liquid crystal panel 10 and an index data generation step of generating index data as an index for evaluating the liquid crystal panel 10 for each color image for evaluation based upon color differences calculated by all of the pixels.
