PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle speed meter capable of vehicle speed finely recognized at low speed and excellent in instantaneous readability at high speed. SOLUTION: The vehicle speed meter for displaying vehicle speed by altering a position indicating a graduation according to vehicle speed is provided with both light-transmitting graduations (graduations 21 of 20 km/h, graduations 22 of 10 km/h, and graduations 23 of 2 km/h) and LEDs (LEDs 61a for the graduations of 20 km/h, LEDs 61b for the graduations of 10 km/h, and LEDs 61c for the graduations of 2 km/h) for making the graduation look bright.
