PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealing performance on a compression chamber and improve compression efficiency by preventing a back up member from displacing in a lap part recess groove. SOLUTION: A sealing member 18 and the back up member 19 are provided in a recess groove 6 of a fixed scroll 2 and the backup member 19 consists of a base body part 19A, a plurality of a groove bottom side projection 19B and a seal side projection 19C. The sealing member 23 and the back up member 24 are provided in a recess groove 11 on a revolving scroll 7 side similarly. Consequently, leak of compressed air to an outer diameter side from an inner diameter side of the lap parts 4, 9 through inside of the recess grooves 6, 11 is prevented. Also, pressure of the compressed air can be made act on both surface side of the back up members 19, 24, and the back up members 19, 24 are prevented from being raised out of the recess grooves 6, 11 and being pushed in the recess grooves 6, 11 by this pressure.
