PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deformation of a cylinder inner wall by bolt fastening in an assembly process of a hermetic type rotary compressor. SOLUTION: Inner diameter of a cylinder 104 is finished with fastening an end plate of same thickness as an auxiliary shaft end plate 108 and a main shaft end plate 107 by a bolt to eliminate deformation of a cylinder inner wall. Consequently, deformation of the cylinder inner wall is limited even if a regular main shaft end plate 107 and a regular auxiliary shaft end plate 108 are fastened by a bolt again, and a reliable hermetic type rotary compressor can be provided.
