PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a base-isolating system less expensive, more durable and more excellent in base-isolating performance than laminated rubber base-isolated structure. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a middle sliding component assembled by combining two convex type sliding components with the same radius of curvatures as base-isolating plates with upper and lower spherical concave sliding surface parts facing downward and upward respectively. This middle sliding component is placed between the base-isolating plate with the upper concave sliding surface facing downward and the base-isolating plate with the lower concave sliding surface facing upward. The base-isolating plate with the lower concave sliding surface facing upward is provided at a structure to be isolated from foundation, and the base-isolating plate with the lower concave sliding surface facing upward is provided at another structure or foundation to support the structure isolated from the foundation.
