PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of being miniaturized as a whole including a sewing machine cover. SOLUTION: The sewing machine 10 comprises a bed body 1 having a bed part 21 with a bed surface 21a formed on the upper surface, a pillar part 22 erected from the proximal end of the bed part and an arm part 23 extending from the pillar part to the distal end of the bed part above the bed part, and the sheet-like sewing machine cover 12 attached to the bed part to cover both side surfaces, upper surface and lower surface of the sewing machine body in such a way as to enclose them.
