PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of solving problems of conventional technologies wherein a handle can be fixed only when the handle is closed and wherein other parts are necessary even if the handle can be fixed when the handle is opened, and capable of fixing the handle when the handle is opened (in use) for the safer use/operation without being an obstacle in the operation. SOLUTION: The handle fixing mechanism consists of the handle with a groove formed around the rotation axis, a rotor to which the handle is attached, and a ball plunger attached inside the rotor. When a ball of the ball plunger is fitted in the groove in the handle, the handle can be fixed whether the handle is opened or closed. Even when the ball of the plunger is not fitted in the groove in the handle, prescribed constant tension can be applied to the handle. With this mechanism, the handle can be fixed at a more accurate angle with the handle and the ball plunger only, and the position of fixing and the number of positions can be changed by changing the position and the number of grooves.
