The method involves receiving information of an identity of an industrial device or process and accessing a stored virtual image dependent on the identity of the industrial device. The image is combined with an image of a real object. The combination is displayed on a display (3) and a virtual monitoring and/or controlling multi-media object-unit (14`) is provided to a user for monitoring and/or controlling the device.
