The warning device is a transponder chip which is permanently connected to the vehicle and communicates contactlessly via radio with a reader assigned to the individual fuel filling guns. An acoustic, visual or touch alarm is triggered when an attempt is made to fill the tank with the wrong fuel. The transponder can be fitted during production or as an accessory fitting.
