The device has an elongate tube type electrode body of insulating material and a conductor (1) running through the electrode body. The conductor has an electric core (5) and an insulating cladding (6). An electric contact is connected to the core. A contact connection is provided between the core and the contact where the core of a lead section loosened from the conductor lies on an inner protective sleeve. An annular outer sleeve sits on the end of this section.
