Method for configuring of an industrial cooking appliance as well as industrial cooking appliance therefor

The method involves centrally developing a cooking software, and storing the developed software on a transportable electronic storage medium in form of a Secure Digital (SD)/multimedia card (MMC). The card is sent to satellite-cooking devices (3-10), which is to be configured/updated. The software stored in the cooking devices is deleted. The software held on the card is read, and is stored in the cooking devices. An independent claim is also included for a system with industrial cooking devices such as satellite-cooking devices.
