The injection system (10) comprises a carrier shield (12) that has a through opening for guiding through of jet pipe outlets and an injection protection rim (20) made from flexible injection protection elements. The carrier shield has a view opening (36) for observation of the cleaning operation through the carrier shield. The carrier shield's view opening may have a surrounding collar (37), whilst there is a surrounding inner chamber (39) within the injection system stemming from the collar. The carrier shield may be triangular in perspective, whilst two of its outer sides (31, 32) may be curved convex. The carrier shield's three outer sides (31, 32, 33) may be curved convex. The carrier shield may have a carrier plate (14) on which a support pipe (27) sits and which defines the through opening, whilst the free end (22) of the injection protection rim defines a plane (23).
