<p>The standpipe (13) has at the connecting end (26) to the sewer pipe an adaptor section (21) formed integral with the normal pipe section but with an enlarged outer diameter compared to the outer diameter of same. The enlarged outer diameter matches or is only slightly less than the inner diameter of the sleeve section (19) of the sewer connecting pipe (17) so that the stand pipe can be fitted directly into the sleeve section. The standpipe can be made of plastics or metal. Independent claim describes a set of two or more standpipes where the normal pipe sections have different sized outer diameters but the adapter sections have substantially the same outer diameters.</p> |
