Antenna with switchable radiating planes and terminal comprising the same

The antenna has a polarization switching unit (SW 1) whose terminals are connected to zones (Z 1, Z 2). Polarization switching units (SW 2, SW n-1) have terminals connected to the zone (Z 1) and one of other additional zones (Z 3, Z n). The zones (Z 2, Z 3, Z n) are subjected to polarization potentials of respective units (SW 1, SW 2, SW n-1) to control switching states of the units. Each switching unit traverses a space forming slot. An independent claim is also included for a mobile communication terminal comprising an antenna.
