The method involves constituting a line selection stage (7) comprising two switches (Tu, Td) in series between two input terminals (11, 12) of the selection stage. The switch (Tu) is utilized to pass a current from or towards an induction coil (L) of an addressing circuit. The switch (Tu) applies a positive voltage on an electrode (3), where the voltage is obtained from a voltage supply stage (Tp). An independent claim is also included for a plasma display panel comprising a control circuit.
