The invention relates to a floor spring comprising a housing for receiving a closing mechanism, said housing being protected by a cover part in the vicinity of a closing shaft (10) that bears a door or similar. The aim of the invention is to provided a cover part for a floor spring, which can be used in a universal manner, irrespective of whether the floor spring has a floating shaft or a rigid shaft and whether the cover plate (12) is fixed to the cement body (14) or to the housing of the floor spring, which requires no pre-assembly on the part of the manufacturer and which facilitates a retroactive installation even in a mounted door. To achieve this, the cover part is configured in two parts and consists of a substantially U-shaped base part (1) and an insert (2) that can be introduced into said base part (1). |
