PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate the distance of display electrodes, widen the electrode area, and display an image with high intensity and high efficiency by arranging a display electrode, a first address electrode, and a second address electrode in one pixel, and commonly using the display electrode in between two pixels by using a barrier rib. SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes of a first address electrode (cathode) 6 and a display electrode 5 comprising a mother electrode 5a and a transparent electrode 5b arranged on both sides of the first address electrode 6, and a second address electrode (anode) 7 are arranged in a display pixel formed with a discharge region partitioned with a barrier rib 4 on a front glass substrate 1 side and a barrier rib 3 on a back glass substrate 2 side. By separating the address electrode 6 and the display electrode 5, the display electrode 5 can commonly use the display electrode 5 for constituting a pair of electrodes in the adjacent discharge region. The distance between the display electrodes 5 can be separated, and light emitting efficiency and brightness can be enhanced. |
