A ventilated roof ridge 1 comprises a ventilation unit 2 having a base (5, fig 1) and a top structure 7 upon which a ridge tile 8 is fitted and connectors 3 (4, figs 4 and 5) connecting arched ends 16 of the ventilation unit 2 to the ridge tile 8. Top structure 7 may comprise a plurality of reinforcing ribs 14 having notches 15 at their ends to form longitudinal bearing surfaces for edges of the ridge tile 8. So that the end connectors 3, (4) may be connected to the arched ends 16, end connectors 3, (4) may have a covering rim 21 having slides 25 that engage with protuberances 17 on the top structure 7, and lugs 22 engaging with wings (19, fig 9) supported by a retention element (18, fig 1). End connectors 3, (4) may have a seal 29 inserted between the covering rim 21 and the ridge tile 8, and may have a rim 24 to serve as an abutment to an adjacent tile (30, fig 10) that is clamped to the roof via a clip (31) that engages with a fixing rail (26). Base (5) may be connected to a coupler 6 via lugs 11 received in openings 12 and the coupler 6 may communicate with an air vent via a flexible duct. |
