Driving unit for a hybrid vehicle

Drive unit (1) has a drive (4) with input shaft (5), which is rotationally connected with the internal combustion engine (2) and has starter-generator (6) which at the same time serves as a electric machine (3). Drive unit has an output shaft (7) which is rotationally connected with drive. The clutch (8) for coupling internal combustion engine with starter-generator is supported by centrifugal force. An independent claim is also included for the method for controlling drive unit.
