A lubricant base oil blend having a viscosity at 100 deg C of between 3 and 8 cSt and further containing (i) a high boiling fraction that boils above 482 deg C (900 deg F) and (ii) a low boiling fraction that boils below 482 deg C (900 deg F), wherein when the high boiling fraction is distilled out, the low boiling fraction will have a higher pour point than the entire lubricating base oil. |
