The device has a base plate (6) provided with fastening units for a bedstead. The base plate comprises several rails or slots that run in a longitudinal direction of a motor vehicle. A belt system is provided for fastening the patient. A set of rigid support grippers (5) is on a contact surface of a bed and one of the support grippers is hinged with the base plate by rails or slots.
