Bitumen elastomer binder for sealing membrane, comprises: bitumen; one or more polymers, which comprise styrene butadiene styrene (SBS); and one or more mineral fillers comprising a phyllosilicate, where the SBS/phyllosilicate mixture constitutes 3-20 wt.% of the bitumen binder, and the fraction of the phyllosilicate is 5-25 wt.% of the SBS. INDEPENDENT CLAIM are included for: (1) a reinforced membrane comprising one or more fibrous reinforcements reinforced by impregnation by the bitumen binder; and (2) in situ hot/cold sealant having the bitumen binder.
