A mixture of desalting components, the bulk of which is a silver alumino silicate ion exchanger, is briquetted by compressing the mixture while it is maintained at 75 DEG C.-120 DEG C. The mixture may be dried before compression. A suitable desalting mixture is described in Specification 672,626. U.S.A. Specification 2,643,771 also is referred to. |
