A load 2 connected between the emitters of two transistors 3, 4 of opposite conductivity types is supplied from a source 1 connected between the collectors of the transistors, and an auxiliary source 5 of lower voltage than source 1 is connected between the bases of the transistors so that the voltage across the load 2 is approximately equal to that of source 5. The auxiliary source may be constituted by a Zener diode (Fig. 2, not shown) or a potential divider (Fig. 3, not shown). In one embodiment giving better stablization of the voltage across the load, the transistors 3, 4 are replaced by transistor combinations and the Zener diode is associated with amplifying transistors having their bases connected to a potential divider shunted across the load 2 (Fig. 4, not shown).</p> |
