The invention relates to sun glasses provided with reflecting sufaces that can protect the eyes against the sun light, and at the same time, allow the bearer to notice what is going on behind the same. The glasses may be worn by any person desiring to protect the eyes against sun light and are particularly recommended to persons who drive two- or three-wheeled open vehicles. According to the invention, the glasses have reflecting surfaces (a and b) made as strips located in the extreme portions of the glasses, being separated from the rest of the lens by a straight vertical edge, each occupying up to 30% of the total lens area, the straight vertical edge starting at an angle of 20 relatively to the eye globe position when looking straight forwards. The said reflecting surfaces are made either by the application of a reflective strip on each lens or by placing the reflecting material on the lens surface.
|
