An on-chip inductive structure, such as the load inductors of a push-pull amplifier, comprises a substrate (20) and first and second inductors (4, 5) connected in series and formed on the substrate (20). The inductors (4, 5) spiral in opposite senses about a common centre in substantially the same plane.
