<p>Crosslinkable silicone rubber composition (I) comprises: polydiorganosiloxane (100 (preferably 0-10) parts by weight) (A) comprising organosiloxy units (where (A) is terminated by vinyldiorganosiloxy groups at both ends, whose non-terminal units are free of aliphatically unsaturated groups and has a mean degree of polymerization of 3000-10000); reinforcing filler (1-90 parts by weight) (B), which is a finely divided, inorganic solid having a specific surface area of 30 m 2>/g; crosslinker (0.1-20 parts by weight) (C); and constituents (0-200 parts by weight) (D). Crosslinkable silicone rubber composition (I) comprises: polydiorganosiloxane (100 (preferably 0-10) parts by weight) (A) comprising organosiloxy units (0.2-20 mol%) having silicon-carbon bonded and aliphatically unsaturated groups, and a low-segregation distribution of the organosiloxy units comprising aliphatically unsaturated groups (with the proviso that the block number R is greater than or equal to 180-X a-(1-X a), where X ais the mole fraction of these organosiloxy units) (where (A) is terminated by vinyldiorganosiloxy groups at both ends, whose non-terminal units are free of aliphatically unsaturated groups and has a mean degree of polymerization of 3000-10000); reinforcing filler (1-90 parts by weight) (B), which is a finely divided, inorganic solid having a specific surface area of 30 m 2>/g; crosslinker (0.1-20 parts by weight) (C); and constituents (0-200 parts by weight) (D) such as nonreinforcing fillers, talc, quartz flour, inhibitors, catalysts, plasticizers, pigments, stabilizers, flame-retardant additives, bonding agents, mold release agents and/or hollow microspheres. Independent claims are included for: (1) a silicone elastomer (II) obtained by (I); and (2) a process for producing (II) comprising crosslinking (I) at elevated temperature and at atmospheric pressure/higher pressure.</p> |
