In an electrical apparatus unit, Fig. 1, comprising a set of flat circuit cards mounted in a supporting frame, the wiring for the unit includes a bundle of wires 10 which extends along the frame adjacent a corner of each card, and each card is provided with a loop 12 which surrounds the bundle of wires so that the cards may be detached from the frame and pivoted about the bundle of wires, thus allowing access to the cards without disturbing the connections thereto. The frame comprises a front plate 1 and extruded girders 2, 3, Fig. 2. Each card comprises a rectangle of insulating material having in one comer a notched recess 7 which engages a castellated girder 4 mounted on girder 3, and in another corner a recess 8 which fits over girder 2 when the card is received in a spring clip 6 mounted on girder 2. The corner adjacent cable harness 10 is recessed at 11 and the loop of wire 12, soldered or eyeletted &c. at one end to the card, has its other end bent for retention in a hole in the card. Connections to the apparatus mounted on the card is by wires such as 13, 14, from the harness, which are soldered or wrapped to pins at the edge of the card.
