Anhydrous composition (A) in the form of film, comprises a film forming polymer (I) and a direct dye (II) (at least 3 wt.%). Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of (A); and (2) a process of coloring keratinous fibers, containing contacting the fibers and (A) in the presence of an aqueous medium.
