In the field of down draught autopsy tables there is a need for a table that is lockable in a desired angular position so as to allow positioning of the table top to suit the task at hand. A down draught autopsy table (10) comprises a body support structure (12) that is moveably connected to a ground support (14). The body support (12) is moveable along a vertical axis so as to adjust the height thereof throughout a range of heights relative to the ground support (14). The body support (12) is also rotatable about the vertical axis. The autopsy table (10) also includes a selectively operable lock means (22) for locking the body support structure (12) in a desired angular position throughout the range of heights. |
