FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly in continuous cold rolling mills. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of supplying emulsion onto working rolls of stands of continuous multi-stand mill whose emulsion supply system is divided by several subsystems designed for supplying emulsion to one or several stands. Emulsion is fed to working rolls at inlet and outlet sides of each stand except last one where emulsion is supplied only at inlet side of stand. Then emulsion is collected, cleaned and its temperature is controlled. According to invention to outlet side of last stand of previous emulsion system and to inlet side of first stand of next emulsion system emulsion is fed from emulsion system of first stand of next emulsion system. Emulsion drained from lower and backup rolls of last stand of previous emulsion system is returned to emulsion system of first stand of next emulsion system along inclined chute. ^ EFFECT: enhanced roughness degree of surface of rolled pieces, lowered consumption of emulsion, reduced risk of mixing emulsions separately circulating in their own systems. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl, 3 ex |
