FIELD: sugar industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: sulfiter has cylindrical casing equipped with separator for separating of sulfited liquid and used gas, and mixing chamber for basic liquid and sulfur dioxide. Within mixing chamber there is disk with apertures for generation of liquid streams. Mixing chamber is provided with device for regulating effective section of disk apertures. Said device is made in the form of ring provided with conical fingers attached thereto and designed for displacement within said chamber. ^ EFFECT: increased sulfiting efficiency and improved quality of sulfited juice. ^ 2 dwg
