FIELD: medicine, cardiology. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should carry out electrocardiography before therapy and after 3-wk-long anti-hypertensive therapy. Then it is necessary to detect dispersion of correcting interval QT before therapy and after 3-wk-long anti-hypertensive therapy. At the value of dispersion of correcting interval QT before therapy being above that of after 3-wk-long anti-hypertensive therapy the efficiency of anti-hypertensive therapy should be evaluated as satisfactory. And at the value of dispersion of correcting interval QT before therapy being equal or below that of after 3-wk-long anti-hypertensive therapy - as unsatisfactory.
