FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, treatment of bulk materials with ultraviolet and infrared irradiation, more particular, for presowing disinfection and stimulation of cereal seeds, as well as grain and combined feed before feeding thereof to animals. ^ SUBSTANCE: irradiation chamber has casing with two covers and infrared and ultraviolet irradiation sources. Light guide located centrally of casing is made in the form hollow tube with saw-shaped apertures. Infrared irradiation source is positioned at one end of light guide and discharge branch pipe is positioned at other end of light guide. Screw-type conveyor is rigidly fixed on light guide. Annular ultraviolet irradiation lamps are positioned opposite each coil of screw-type conveyor. Ratio of inner diameter of annular lamps to diameter of conveyor screw is 1.25. Conveyor is equipped with side and perforations made in the form of openings arranged in rows extending from side to axis of chamber. Light guide is capable of clockwise rotation. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in treatment of bulk material due to uniform irradiation and simplified construction of irrigation chamber. ^ 2 dwg |
