FIELD: medicine, stomatology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents used in mouth cavity care. The curative-prophylactic tooth paste comprises abrasive material, form-forming thickening agent, preserving agent, dye, moisture-retaining substance, cleansing and foam-forming component, sweetening agent, perfume, active substances and water wherein tooth paste comprises mexidol (2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxypyridine succinate) and calcium citrate as active components taken in the definite ratio of components. Proposed tooth paste shows the expressed and prolonged curative effect. Using the paste results to significant improving the parodontium tissue and mouth cavity state for short periods. The expressed effect can be seen on 3-4-th day after using the paste. Paste eliminates inflammatory process, decreasing edema, bleeding and gums painfulness rapidly.
