The bearing has a static centering unit (48) which is arranged on a stopper unit (14) and centers the stopper unit. The unit (48) comprises six centering pinions distributed circumferentially on the unit (14). The pinions are inserted between the fingers (18D) of a diaphragm (18) of a clutch. The unit (48) maintains the unit (14) with respect to a rotating driving unit during the operation of the clutch. An independent claim is also included for a clutch comprising a diaphragm on which a clutch control bearing is locked.
