A fuel supply system for internal combustion engines, mainly for diesel engine, which comprises a high-lift pump connected by a supply tube with fuel tank and delivery conduit, which is connected, in its turn, with a jet system, each of the jets including hollow case in which a spraying gun with a locking needle, loaded with a spring, established in the overneedle cavity of the jet case and supplied with a spring tension control device, is located, a fuel feed channel connected with the delivery conduit and cavity, and a drain device connected with a tank return main, a fuel drain chain being formed through overneedle cavity between the fuel feed channel and a drain main, and the overneedle jet cavity being executed with an opportunity of hydraulic pressure adjustment in it by means of a back pressure valve, between the input and output of which a gate is located, where the back pressure valve is established so as to connect its output with the tank return main first of all to avoid completely an effect of hydraulic jamming of the needle.The system provides for various back pressure valve seats, various forms of the gate of the back pressure valve execution, as well as the various forms of switching of the tank return mains of the jets in relation to the back pressure valve.
