摘要 The method involves inserting a round shaped body (5) inside a divergent (3) of a nozzle along its axis, before starting an engine. The body is moved along the axis based on a stagnation pressure value of a combustion gas in a combustion chamber such that a shock wave induced by the flow disturbance of the combustion gas caused by the body is incident on a wall of the divergent at an axial position where a jet separation is produced. An independent claim is also included for a device to reduce non-stationary lateral forces acting on a nozzle of a rocket engine.
