Use of rimonabant and N-piperidino-5-(4-bromophenyl)-1-(2,4-dichlorop henyl)-4-ethylpyrazole-3-carboxamide, as cannabinoids (CB1) receptor antagonists (I), for the preparation of drugs useful to treat and prevent type-II diabetes. An independent claim is included for a composition comprising (I) and an active ingredient of metformin and sulfonylurea. - ACTIVITY : Antidiabetic. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : Cannabinoids (CB1) receptor antagonist.
