Cosmetic use of a sulfated fucane polysaccharide (I), as an active agent to treat, prevent and/or to cure sensitive keratinous fiber, particularly hair. Independent claims are included for: (1) a cosmetic composition comprising (I) to get a capillary action for coloring, discoloring and/or permanent restructuring; (2) a dye composition (II) for keratinous fibers comprising a dye, a pigment and/or a dye precursor and (I); (3) a permanent restructuring composition (IV) for keratinous fibers comprising at least a reducing agent or an alkaline agent (0.1 M) and (I); (4) a discoloring composition (III) for keratinous fibers comprising an oxidizing agent and (I); (5) a dye product (A) comprising first composition containing (I) and a second composition containing a dye, a pigment and/or a dye precursor; (6) a decolorizing product (T) comprising first composition containing (I) and a first oxidizing agent and a second composition containing a second oxidizing agent; (7) a permanent restructuring product (E) composition comprising a first composition containing (I) and a second composition containing a reducing agent or an alkaline agent (0.1 M); and (8) a process for dyeing, discoloration and/or permanent restructuring comprises applying the first and the second composition successively.
