The device has a tow bar (1) comprising an end fitting (3) that is introduced in a housing of a fixation pad fixed on a frame of a quad. The bar has stowage hooks (5) traversing the pad through cuts in the pad, when the bar is pulled up, in order to make a lever and to hitch up the quad on a towing hook of a tow vehicle. Pins (7) are inserted through the hooks (5) for fixing the bar to the tow vehicle.
