The piston has a deformable or breakable part (320) comprising a recess (322). The part is intended to be deformed or to be broken, when the pressure force is greater than a failure threshold which is in the range of 800 kilograms per square centimeter. An independent claim is also included for a brake device comprising a master brake cylinder.
